I’m planning a family trip and I have to constantly remind myself to be on the lookout for senior rates. Sometimes they actually make a big difference in the rate. The hotels do have a caveat that says you must present ID or you’ll get a higher rate, so be aware of that.

In the example above, the difference is significant! But the Prepay Rate is even better if you know you’re actually going to be there.

During this exercise, I did search for train discounts, but they’re mean and didn’t show any. The adult fares are the same as the senior fares. You do have to check though and sometimes senior rates start at 60.
